Last weekend we went on a little family get away to Mountain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita in Arksansas with Holly, Chris and Ashlyn and their friends Melinda, Gordon, and Sienna. We had a great time just relaxing and hanging out. That is until hurricane Ike blew through Saturday night and knocked out the power. The resort was kind enough to bring us 2 candles and a flash light that didn't work, but we managed. The power still was not on Sunday morning so we packed it up and headed back for home. All in all it was a fun time away from home for our first family vacation with the 4 of us.......By the way the kiddos did great in the car thanks to coloring books and the "Little People" music we got to listen to for the 5 hour drive!!!

We all enjoyed playing Yatzee, but I think Brian needs to take a class on how to roll the dice!

Gordon caught this lizard for Ella and Sienna. Ella had a great time playing with it until she squeezed it a little to hard!!! If you know what I mean!
