Great Wolf Lodge Vacation!
Off we go, into the wild blue yonder.....no, not really. Just on our way to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine Texas for a few days of vacation.
How much longer???? Are we there yet???
We were lucky enough to get a room on the 1st floor. So all we had to do was leave our room and take the walk down our hallway to where ever we wanted to go.
This is in the arcade after our first day of swimming. The kids had a good time earning tickets to get to buy a couple of junk toys. Oh well, they had fun anyways!
Grady boy taking a break from the water. I think twice he fell asleep in the lounge chair!
He had a great time trying to catch the water spurting up from the wave pool.
Ella's favorite thing was the wave pool. She loved wearing her life jacket after she figured out that it would not let her sink. She never even minded all the water splashing her in the face!
It took a little coaxing to get her down the slide the first time, but after she found out how much fun it was I think she went about 30 times!
Riding the wave runner and shooting the water gun!!!! Fun times!
Grady boy looking out our patio.
For dinner the 2nd night we took the kids to Rainforest Cafe. They had such a good time watching the elephants move and seeing the monkeys swinging from branches.
Ella and the Alligator. I still think she thought that it was real. We didn't bust her bubble.
Grady checking out the gator too!
We couldn't get Grady to stand still to take a picture with his sister.
This is how we slept every night. All of us in the king size bed. The only one that is missing is me on the end next to Grady, but somebody had to take the picture!
Sitting on the bear in front of the pastry shop.
This is Ella mad because we were making her get out of the water for the night!
All in all we had a wonderful family vacation, just the four of us and we can't wait to go back sometime soon.
